The only problem with it is that all men are actually not created equal. It is government that is pretending to care about making them equal, all the while trying hard to keep them from equality with those in government and industry.

When the Founders said that "all men are created equal" they didn't mean with equal abilities or equal outcomes. They meant with equal rights.

To RCG, they also knew it would take time before that would eventually apply to all men but they set forth the principal. If they hadn't you would still be a slave.

  5. If that were true, slavery would have ended with the declaration, so clearly the evidence suggests otherwise.

You know nothing happens over night just because some men have the vision to state the obvious truth. It takes a lot of sacrifice before people's minds are changed.

You owe a lot more to those white men than you will ever acknowledge.

  7. That, according your premise undermines the very foundation of the declaration.

  8. I owe to those founders who wanted slavery killed at the time of the declaration. But if there was going to be a United States, they had to give in on that one. The Liberals had to concede to the Conservatives.

    Read up on it sometimes.

  9. The IRS is rather uptight. I don't think they would be amused.

You know changing someone's quotes is a big no-no with the mods. We don't want you to have another run-in with Magna. :D
