Fun, but also serious. Trump needs to take direct action on the economy, to please the party of liberty.

That’s a fine talking point directly from the Kremlin you are peddling — which is incredibly laughable in view that Putin and his cronies threaten nuclear war nearly every day.

This isn't at all what Trump said, and its yet another example of you lying (and posting misinformation). In the article you posted, he says that he's considering privatizing it. That's all.

  10. This is not a partisan issue but a simple issue of firing the fucktard who is incompetent in running the UPS.

Easiest to start fixing this is for trump to admit DeJoy is a disaster and fire him and replace him like he said he would do to government workers who are not doing their job... the buck stops with deJoy. I would be impressed if trump simply find a better man for the job than simply cop out to privatization...

On-time delivery rates fell when trump nominee DeJoy was appointed in 2020, particularly in communities of color. He facilitated the removal and destruction of mail sorting machines that were crucial to allowing USPS to function smoothly. And he has multiple questionable investments. DeJoy is the first Postmaster General in 20 years without prior experience in the USPS.

Financial records obtained through the Office of Government Ethics show that DeJoy and his wife still hold significant investments in companies that are in direct competition with the Post Office. DeJoy’s investments include stakes in XPO Logistics, UPS, J.B. Hunt, Forward Air Corp, and Saia Inc, with total investments in USPS competitors of between $30 million and $75.8 million.

Postmaster General Louis DeJoy faced bipartisan pushback from members of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs, with multiple exchanges turning testy. DeJoy vehemently defended his efforts and said the senators standing in his way would bring about the end of the Postal Service.

Sen. Josh Hawley, R-Mo., became angry with DeJoy when discussing his plan to slow down delivery for some mail, which is expected to disproportionately impact rural areas.

It is seriously mismanaged which leads to losing money so rather than privatize, it should be heavily scrutinized by the GAO and IG and cleaned up significantly. Fire DeJoy and let trump appoint a better person to step in and reofrm. I mean I can still have a package go from NY to LA in a few days for a few dollars. I do not think we are yet at the level to privatize it because the USPS provides a lot of services in addition to just carrying letters.

Maybe stop appointing swampy people and invest in cleaning it up the right way and trump can have a victory here. Should be an easy fix. USPS is still cheaper than FEDEX, UPS, DHL, and Amazon but not treated right by any executive.
