Day 40 Do not give back PROFITS # of Disasters: 3 1) Quit when your proift target for the day is met. Do not go for more, then give back and go for more etc etc.. Be content with yourself. 2) I need a STOP at all times, I cannot move my STOPS. No more moving stops... you cannot let market puke all over you. 3) Only risk more, when there is room. Only when it is the RIGHT, and the MOST SURE thing to do.
Day 41 I am the BEST I am so impressed with myself. Oh, I wake up on time to trade because I go to bed early before 1 AM. I get done with everything TODAY. I need to extend that a bit to my financial issues. # of Disasters: 3 1) i CANNOT let HUGE positions EVER turn into losers EVER AGAIN. simple as that.. why could I never do this? NO MORE. Get the hell out. Keep me out of the emotional wreckage I could get myself into... 2) Stick with BASE contract, and never take on more...under no circumstances. Only in the rarest of the rarest situations only. 3) I MUST NEVER AGAIN be STOPPED OUT. Winners only.
Day 42 I sUcK I must NEVER add more cars to a LOSING trade. I should never let a multi contract position get out of hand, & turn it into a huge LOOZER. Stick with ONE contract only. I should never take a TRADE without knowing where to GET OUT, pre-defined well ahead. And, I MUST STICK WITH IT
long term successful trading for intraday emini trader is 9 until 2:30 ish........... all other stuff is your enemy............waking up early is waste of time if it is to help u trade better ...has nothing to do with it....it si all about developing a system u can trade with confidence........ .......there is no homework to be prepared for next day....that is for position traders.............bernanke and oil report today meant what ? nothing but distraction..............system should work right thru that...........same pictures as u see every day..........
Day 43 Forgot Not only did I take a losing trade overnight, I completely FORGOT about it. Thats what happens when you trying to forget your trading. I took a trade overnight on a day when we're switching over the contracts. This, just seems like a norm to me.. I tend to do this all the time. On another note, I noticed that on the day of the contract rollover, there is a tendency for the markets to go up, more often.. than down. I took off yesterday night to visit a friend across the state line. Got back around noon, and.. .UNBELIEVABLE.. I am a better trader in the after the noon part of the day. Thus, it is yet again.. clear to me that I need to preserve myself during the initial stages of the day when the followthrough is a bit hard to figure out. Thus, now on. .the goal is to PRESERVE, and then HIT the HOMERUN..
Day 44 Its the Intangables Good trading must start with.. 1) Clean and all caught up trading desk. It is impossible to focus and concentrate when you have 20 zillion things on top of it. Get done with each and everything TODAY... 2) Waking up early and being prepared for the day. For this, I need to remember to set my alarm. I should do this when I wake up, rather than putting it off till I go to bed.
