I don’t know. The native Afghanis didn’t know who all these terrorists were who showed up from all over the earth to train there. The terrain in that country is the best in the world for hiding and fighting from cover. It’s the worst country in the world if you’re trying to drive out terrorists from their training camps. Which is why it was chosen in the first place. So, it may not be accurate to say we failed at nation building. That wasn’t our intent, it was more to deny terrorists the best location in the world for training and hiding.
