Interesting lecture by dr. Jason Williams, psychiatrist and son of Larry Williams: He states that to be a good trader you should be low in the Neuroticism trait. If you are low in Conscientiousness you should be a discretionary trader, if you are high then a systematic trader.
They all seem to want to join the bandwagon of those who coach/advise traders. Strangely the most effective methods, such as dhamma (dot) org, are free ( based on voluntary donation only from people who have completed it).
I agree, I watched it for three minutes only. more like just one. -- probably gonna be a whole bunch of psycho useless, sleepy theory babble. Those who can do...Do -- those who can't...teach, He looks like a Big Mac that's wearing a pink cotton vest. If he had rosier red pink cheeks and face from drinking...he would kind of look like MarketSurfer.
No, because dentists can make really bad pain go away. Psychiatrists (or trading psychologists) do just the opposite, as we listen to their babbling.
That or worse. These guys that say it's 99% psychology are so full of crap. Now is it important, yes but if you have no repeatable edge you have no chance no matter how strong your psych is. I also believe that edge does not have to be complicated. While I don't do this I think an edge can be as simple as it looks like buyers are exhausted I'm going to sell short.
