It looks like it is going to be another summer of mostly peaceful protests. I fully expect the media to stoke the flames. Exclusive: Law enforcement prepares for potential violence, unrest surrounding Roe decision https://news.yahoo.com/exclusive-la...ence-unrest-after-roe-decision-204137717.html Law enforcement authorities across the country are preparing for the possibility of violence and civil unrest in reaction to the impending Supreme Court decision on Roe v. Wade, according to intelligence bulletins and other internal reports obtained by Yahoo News. Authorities are on alert for fallout from the ruling, according to law enforcement documents and interviews with government officials tracking the potential threats. A February situational awareness bulletin produced by the Colorado Information Analysis Center warns that challenges to Roe v. Are we taking bets yet on which cities will burn so developers can scoop up the "redevelopment" properties at super cheap prices with federally funded no-recourse loans? They ain't gonna burn out the "nice" areas, you know.
Portland and Seattle should be at the top of the list as a lot of Antifa thugs live in those areas. These are going to be peaceful demonstrations. They should send the police home. Let them put up their autonomous zones.
Just like RvW was supposedly untouchable and then they touched it. Basically the 5 of them lied their asses off then when they felt the time was right they did what they always intended on doing,
Certainly the chances of some Republicans winning elections just got a lot worse. At least one good thing comes out of this Republican created mess.
Home prices are still up, if I were on one of those forces, I'd be looking to move to a force which would support policing. If the "elected officials" want to support antifa, let 'em. Girl, bye!
Well these things go in waves, now dont they. Are police shootings still happening or are they just not reporting them? Have you ever sat back and wondered why the media reports what they do, when they do?
This raises an important issue.. We all at one time said it was acceptable for a Justice to not comment on how they would decide a case if it came before them. Now we are talking about Justice candidates that are telling Senators in private chambers what they would do on a case if it came before them? I dont think it is appropriate to say that Justice X and Justice Y promised they would never touch Roe when those Justices are not allowed to say how they would decide a hypothetical case that is not even before them... Did the Justices lie? Or did they simply say that Roe is the law and they cannot comment on what would happen if a challenge to Roe came before them? What if Justice Jackson says 2nd Amendment is the law and I am not looking to repeal gun laws. But then gets a case and makes a decision limiting gun ownership...
