  1. A new book by Frank Partnoy. Looking pretty interesting so far.

    This caught my eye.

The Wall Street bombing occurred at 12:01 p.m. on September 16, 1920, in the Financial District of New York City.

The newly created Federal Reserve Bank lowered interest rates and added money to the financial system.

Investors came to see that neither war nor terrorists could defeat American optimism.

IMO, Also shaping up to be a few parallels between Morgan back then and the publics attitude toward GS now.
