I'm pretty sure that most of the members of Congress aren't conscious, although you can take advantage of them. So there's one hole in the theory.

One mind, yes. "Burgeoning awareness"? Nah. Awareness is native to the mind, and total. It does not increase because it does not learn, knowing all. "The universe" is a game to such a mind...an interference pattern...a mask...a veil of ignorance covering up total knowledge. Confusion and delusion ensue. Awareness decreases as the mind splits into theoretical pieces...domains...levels...personas. As awareness is narrowed to fit on a pin-head, freedom is "lost", and quality of life is compromised. These books seem to promise a restoration of freedom, or at least some quality of life, by increasing one's awareness of the mechanics of how results are manifested in such a world. And, by mimicing the mechanics of how the universe is set up initially, to continue to thread one's way through it more deliberately in order to achieve a (more?) desirable result. It should be noted, however, that such methods were used to brings one's awareness to a very narrow perspective in the first place. Desire for the world, and the things of the world keep one's attention on it, and his awareness within it...for better or worse. One has to wonder, however, that if anyone is really getting "better" at purposeful manifesting, why do lifespan/aging/death issues still plague one's quality of life? Are these not unacceptable? For that matter, why do strange events and circumstances yet occasially sabatoge one's efforts to improve quality of life? So it seems to me these are like candy for kids. Where's the beef? I am stongly suggesting that "the universe" is complete, and perfectly imperfect. All choices relative to separate states of being have already been made, by the one mind that makes the delusion. What appear to be shifts in desire which bring about different results...are more of the same. It's great to be able to afford a ticket on a Titanic...but in the end, the Titanic still goes down, no matter how the chairs on deck are arranged. Sad endings, separations, departures, sudden catastrophe, unexpected depressions...perfectly imperfect experiences of what makes "the universe" what it is. As a rule of thumb, faith methods will lead one's awareness around "the universe", or, out of it. To get out of it, a more honest look at the initializing cause of this world needs to be addressed. That "cause" should be questioned. To get out, one must realize that what appear to be choices are all one choice: to stay narrowed within a massive psychic delusion.
