    EliteTrader not EliteCountry duh.

Gee that Canada place has got us beat with all that barren land, snow and ice.

Wait that got yummy tar sands too.

They love it so so much many of the citizens spend half the year down here in South Florida.

    Market needs turnover.
High turnover needs high levels of motivation to trade.
    That motivation lies in mispricings.
So, the market is "wrong" most of the time.

As the saying goes: The path of least resistance frequently leads through irrationality.

  6. Typical US xenophobia/ignorance :)
(being that you are American I should mention that these temps are in Celsius not Fahrenheit)

  7. BITO is made up of futures contracts and a mix of other things. It does NOT hold spot-BTC.

Again, this is EliteTrader... but for some reason the crypto forum brings out all the newbs and baby-boomers who just heard of bitcoin on CNBC for the first time...

This is getting scary around here.

    Who cares!
Take for example Rio Tinto, it trades in the iron ore sector but it produces, aluminium, bauxite, copper, borates, lithium, diamonds, salt, titanium.

  9. Everyone who has a fiduciary to their client's retirement fund.

Due to the way these futures ETFs work, they are guaranteed to lose in the long run. They behave similarly to that USO garbage and other ETFs that are 2x & 3x leveraged. Eventually, they all head to zero.

These products were never made for retail trying to invest for the long-term (for what should have been obvious reasons).
