Let's examine this in more, sober, detail. Jesus: A reference to a man Christ: A reference to that man's perception, or better yet, knowledge, of reality. Way: A reference to a mental process that returns an insane mind back to reality. Truth: A reference to the fact that reality and truth are the same thing. Life: A reference to the fact that the quality of true/reality is "life". Summary: Self is Reality and Reality is Life itself. All of this analysis is for nought if you take the easy, broad road, which equates a man (Jesus) with what he discovered about his true self (Christ). The man is some evidence of the false self, driven by faith, versus: Christ, which is both an attempt to describe the reality about the false man, and the reality itself. Jesus Christ, then, may be translated as: 1.) A false man's attempt to describe his discovery of the true Self 2.) The description itself (of the true Self). . Since the true Self and Reality are the same, Jesus' Christ is basically one man's attempt to describe reality. When you look around, you can see that pretty much every man is trying to describe reality for himself and for others. So this is not new, and it's very common. Even the OP here is trying to describe what is reality to us. We could call that : Wide Tail'z description of reality, or, Wide Tail'z Christ A studious follower would only pay attention to: Jesus' description of reality, or, Jesus' Christ Unfortunately, most of those who described Jesus' description of reality, inserted their own description of reality, obscuring what Jesus said and did.
Religion and our pathetic perceptions of 'God'. My opinion, there is no 'God' "out there." Humans make this mistake of equating God as some type of figure head, Father, divine being. There is no Creator, there is only Creation. The universe and every atom in it is creation. There is nothing Godly out there to be worshipped, we and every insect are 'Creation', forget the cultist concept of "God". If you want to worship anything, worship life, laughter, joy, every creature, every bit of wonderful nature.
You'll notice something strange, all the religious countries in the world with strong religions are mired in conflict, wars, dysfunctionality.
The flip side is all the ones who adopted Judeo-Christian principles of following the 10 commandments, lending and / or giving to their poor, taking care of their widows and orphans, honoring parents and private property, respecting women etc. tended to correlate with the wealth of nations that Adam Smith wrote about. I didn't learn this from any one of those counterfeit chuches you keep railing against, but a Jewish rabbi!
As mentioned in some previous posts/threads, I think the Bible is a tremendous book, lots of great stuff, but also lots of claptrap. Genesis creation just nonsense, and a lot of historical facts and miracles just bs. If one can read the bible without taking everything literally, if one can use it as a general guide and inspiration, then good. Jesus resurection imo is fiction. Jesus life, yes, probably true. Life is a mystery, I think humans are gifted, I think humans are wonderful, but we are flawed. Religion is a human weakness, but also strength, binding humans together but also seperates them,
I observe nature quite a bit, part of me being a hunter in my younger years, spent lots of time alone in the bush, i found hunting alone was more profitable. All wild animals are very wary of humans. Birds in the suburbs for example fly the fuck away when we get close, until they get to know you that is. Animals are wary of us because they know we are untrustworthy imo. We are fukkers.
