So there are more cases than a year ago, there are more deaths than a year, but the CDC says we can go maskless. Can someone explain that 'science' to me? I sounds more like the science of elections than the science of viruses. Now Joe Biteme is going to give the state of union address and claim victory. This pandemic has been a total sham. COVID CASES USA 114,071 FEB 28 2022 50,905 FEB 28 2021 DEATHS 1,972 FEB 28 2022 1,129 FEB 28 2021 https://www.npr.org/sections/health...-now-go-unmasked-in-many-parts-of-the-country CDC says Americans can now go unmasked in many parts of the country
So tell us --- are we down more than 90% from the cases in the recent Omicron peak? Was the vaccine widely available to everyone in February of 2021? Different times, totally different situation. Covid vaccinations are currently widely available to everyone over 5 in the U.S. --- over 95% of the deaths are unvaccinated. If you made a choice not to be vaccinated then tough luck -- your death or severe illness is your own damn fault.
No the vaccine was not widely available. With the vaccine widely available we are doing worst in the number of deaths. Didnt you read the news? The CDC mis-led the public on vaccines. You need to keep up with current events.
Yet over 95% of the Covid deaths are unvaccinated. And there is no evidence that the CDC misled anyone on vaccines -- not releasing a vast amount of raw data so it will not be deliberately misinterpreted by anti-vaxxers is not misleading. It is being wise by providing proper context and information. Scotland and the U.K. also stopped releasing raw Covid data without context after learning the harsh lesson about how anti-vaxxers will lie about it & present it in false context.
The numbers showing that over 95% of deaths are unvaccinated are wrong you claim. You are claiming that all the states providing the information are wrong, the KFF is wrong, the CDC is wrong, and all the hospitals publicly reporting the stats are wrong. Yeah, whatever.
The positive case-count from a year ago is up because there is more testing being done as compared to a year ago. That's basic maths. Even Trump the dumbass knew this basic math when he wanted less testing, so there would be fewer case-counts when he was still in office. The increased death count? Have no idea on that one, but something smells fishy on that data point
Yes it is. Do you have goldfish memory? Don't you realize how much of that free home testing etc has added to the sample size? We are assuming, of course, that your data is verified. Case counts here in New England are dropping rapidly over the last few months. Is that because people are no longer testing, or is it because the same number of people are no longer infected. There's no way to tell.
