  2. ok dead thread i know, but I read this and cannot allow this to fly

Is this some sort of joke? Racism? Obama is MIXED! Obama was calling it like he saw it. Kanye is an arrogant rap idiot and Taylor Swift is a 19 year old little girl with an untarnished reputation . I have no political stance, but I think it was cool that Obama said that.

Yes. A little thing some of us like to call sarcasm. You might not have noticed but anybody critical of The One is labeled a racist by the press. Some dork in congress says "you lie" during a presidential address and Jimmy Carter says that was a racist comment. Rush Limbaugh says (and clarifies) that he hopes the socialist policies of The One fail, and he is branded a racist. The left is throwing this label around like . . . well . . . like a joke.

    Main Entry: sar·casm
    Pronunciation: \ˈsär-ˌka-zəm\
    Function: noun
Etymology: French or Late Latin; French sarcasme, from Late Latin sarcasmos, from Greek sarkasmos, from sarkazein to tear flesh, bite the lips in rage, sneer, from sark-, sarx flesh; probably akin to Avestan thwarəs- to cut
    Date: 1550

1 : a sharp and often satirical or ironic utterance designed to cut or give pain
2 a : a mode of satirical wit depending for its effect on bitter, caustic, and often ironic language that is usually directed against an individual b : the use or language of sarcasm
    synonyms see wit

BTW Limbaugh also wanted Clinton to fail, so I guess he's anti-white as well.

It might not be noticed because it's not true, it's just some nonsense you pulled out of your ass.
How do you know it wasn't racism that had the dork in Congress acting like a dork? He comes from Jimmy Carter's part of the country; maybe Carter understands the dork better than you do.
Limbaugh was labeled a racist long before the nation even heard of Obama. Limbaugh has a history of making racist remarks, like "Have you ever noticed how all composite pictures of wanted criminals resemble Jesse Jackson?"

  6. LOL So it isn't nonsense? Do you honestly not see a conflict between these statements?

Do you honestly not see you're mixing apples and oranges? I answered two different statements, that called for two different answers, and no, they don't conflict.

Instead of playing games, point out the specific conflict that prompted you to post, THEN we can discuss it.

  8. The conflict is that you say the media does not consider the opposition racist yet you think Carter is right about Wilson being racist.

If you are dumb enough to believe Carter is right then you should be dumb enough to believe that the opposition is racist. The two go hand in hand.

Maybe you should make a pact and agree to disagree...with yourself.

First of all, I didn't say Carter was right, I just posed the possibility that he was right.

    Second >>>

TGregg: ... anybody critical of The One is labeled a racist by the press.

me: ... it's not true, it's just some nonsense you pulled out of your ass.

TGregg: Some dork in congress says "you lie" during a presidential address and Jimmy Carter says that was a racist comment.

me: How do you know it wasn't racism that had the dork in Congress acting like a dork?

If you are dumb enough to believe Jimmy Carter is part of the press, then you are dumb enough to believe that the two separate exchanges go hand in hand when they are actually unrelated.

  10. Do you believe the media seek the truth? Do you believe that there is a strong possibility that the opposition to Obama is racist? If you believe the opposition being racist is truthful and that the media seek the truth then you must think that the media believes the opposition to Obama is racist.
