Looking at T&S (in real time it is possible I see something that is not there) I have noticed something that seems to be significant at certain times (I think when the General are busy): sometimes most of the contract changes hands (when price move) in one direction while on the other direction only few contract need to change hands to move the price. If I am correct (and this is to be further validated) my interpretation is that the General are loading (unloading) on one side while keeping the range close on the other, the end result would be that of loading (unloading) while keeping a relatively fixed price range with minimal expense.
