  1. As a side note, when we are on the subject of Ancient Rome, here are but a few things that went on in the modern society of the time

Claudius married his niece Agrippina

Agrippina had Claudius name her son Nero, by another marriage, as his successor over his own flesh and blood

Agrippina killed Claudius with a poisoned mushroom

Nero became Emperor - and then burned Rome for his own gain

Nero had his mother Agrippina killed after failing to kill her 5 times by "accidental death"

This goes on and on, but I think that is enough to get the point across !

And Rome was once the most civilized nation in the world

It is no wonder so many traders find it hard to accept that when it comes to trading, they are really of no significance, in the same way that the many citizens of Ancient Rome, were of no real significance !

  3. Now we will expand on our secret ABC pattern !

What do you see in the following Cube in relation to trading ?

The only clue I will give is:

Some will get the answer very easily, if they but stop and think !

  4. 9999

    9999

Even today, nobody knows for sure if this fact is true or fiction, and historians are still debating it. But indeed, Roman politicians were (some still are) extremely corrupt.

  5. But we do know that Nero played his Lyre when Rome was burning, and that he seized the burned down buildings in the centre of Rome to build his great palace with a magnificent lake, which Vespasian later drained and used as the foundation for the Flavian Amphitheatre!

Ironically, Vespasian was one of the better Romans, and yet his legacy led to more innocent deaths than any other Emperor !

As Nero had his mother killed, we can logically deduce that he more than likely had a hand in the burning of Rome !

In the end he slit his own throat, a just end for one who killed his own mother !

  6. Please let us not digress too much, for as much as knowing about the past can lead us to anticipate the future, we must stay focused on learning what we need to learn, and not what we would like to learn !

The answer to the above question, which we still have to answer, and my last post in relation to the 3D Cube, are related !

In fact, let's look at the prime factors of the numbers from 2 to 25:

    Number Prime factors
    2 2
    3 3
    4 2, 2
    5 5
    6 2, 3
    7 7
    8 2, 2, 2
    9 3, 3
    10 2, 5
    11 11
    12 2, 2, 3
    13 13
    14 2, 7
    15 3, 5
    16 2, 2, 2, 2
    17 17
    18 2, 3, 3
    19 19
    20 2, 2, 5
    21 3, 7
    22 2, 11
    23 23
    24 2, 2, 2, 3
    25 5, 5

As you can see, 16 and 24 have more integer divisors than any other numbers under 25. So, why not divide the day into 16 hours? Maybe that makes an hour too big, or maybe it's convenient to be able to divide a day into thirds. There's no way to know for sure.

  9. Interesting thread but wasted in this setting of traders. You of course know this. Far removed from back testing and pivot points.
Esoteric and taboo such as squaring the range, Pythagorean theorem, music, ratios, square roots in time, platonic solids, geometry, interchanging of time and price, cycles and astro psychology just to name a few. OMG it's voodoo!:p

  10. Back testing is beneficial when one is trading several proven strategies, to work out the most appropriate allocation of funds per strategy.

Backtesting to see what trading results can be obtained from using a certain combination of TA Indicators, is about as much use as a condom with a pin hole in the center !

Voodoo is a ridiculous and silly tribal custom, and has no part in mastering the art of gambling.

Certain numbers are of great importance when the chosen market approaches these numbers, but that is all, it is what happens when this event unfolds that matters most !

Cycles are a load of rubbish !

Market Geometry is only understood by a very small minority, and if you think that the markets are random, then you are partially correct, but knowing the difference between random movement on a chart, and a systematic controlled movement, well, again, is only known, understood and used by, a very small minority of traders !

If you read my posts correctly, you will see that the clues I leave will make you think, and when you start to think about the hidden gems in the charts, you are well on your way to mastering the art of gambling !
