When i last visited my sister in Chicago she wanted to watch WGN before we went out for a later night coffee. I teased her and said that was only to check on the latest murders. She said, Why else doe's anyone watch the local news? With the internet, cable, satellite, 24 CNN, etc (no Fox allowed) there really is no reason to watch the local flips on the tube. Local yocal news is all about making ad money, plain and simple. The real news etc is somewhere else. Local news is outdated, ..................small town or big city. Nothing but ads and self admiration society..........
