From - The Real Lincoln "Lincoln was in favor of Southern slavery because its leaders feared the spectacle of emancipated slaves residing in their own Northern states....There were very few blacks in the North in 1861, and most Northern voters wanted it to remain that way. Lincoln was opposed to the extension of slavery into the new territories because they wanted to preserve the territories as the exclusive domain of the white race."
In my opinion, the situation with retired Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman is when a lot of military families begin to give Trump the downs down. https://www.cnn.com/2020/10/17/poli...ife-alexander-vindman-trump-danger/index.html Later, Trump's response (none) to Putin about the bounty on the heads of American Soldiers heads was just confirmation about his views of the United States Armed Forces and any sacrifices they had. Rumour is that there are other soldiers that have earned the distinguish medial of honor have requested it be placed on hold until a new President has been elected...that's very telling about the views by active / inactive duty military soldiers. In contrast, a few have allowed their ceremony to be honour under Trump...I will never fault them for such...their choice. wrbtrader
I think the pardons to those war criminals put off a ton of servicemen. Along w/the forced reinstatement of one of them undermining the chain of command under him. Not to mention the dismissal of that ship captain who blew the whistle on COVID aboard his vessel and lost command of it for doing so.
the Putin bounties and his comments about soldiers being losers were disgusting. I can’t believe ANY American would accept that.
I don't consider anyone an American that would accept that. Unfortunately the Commander in Chief doesn't seem to understand his responsibilities to the American people military and someone else will gladly fulfill that vacancy job. wrbtrader
