The Left wants to weird out as many children as possible so they become future Democrat voters. They don't even care how they go about doing this. Terrible people they are.
They are starting the indoctrination process on the very young with their impressionable minds. Much, much easier to mold them into what they want for them. Parents should have the common sense to remove their kids from most of the public schools. Home school your kids. Do not even send your kids to college. A college degree is overrated. Instead, get a $100,000 loan and start a family business with your kids working in the business. When they grow up, it is going to be their business. And they will have learned real life skills on how to run a business.

To Rufo, those "insanities" include support for LGBTQ people. "Mr. Rufo has taken aim at opponents of a new Florida law that prohibits teachers in some grades from discussing L.G.B.T.Q. issues and that critics call 'Don’t Say Gay,'" The New York Times reported last month. "He declared 'moral war' against the statute’s most prominent adversary, the Walt Disney Company. And he has used the same playbook that proved effective in his crusade on racial issues: a leak of insider documents." Rufo is taking credit for the extensive vitriol being catapulted at State Farm, a century-old company whose "Like a good neighbor" slogan has been part of American culture for 50 years. And now, just one week before LGBTQ Pride month, he's very publicly threatening any other company that supports LGBTQ people, the LGBTQ community, diversity, or equality they will be next:

I remember when that was a real problem. The church had to clean house. Wish we could do the same with the public school system.
