    NATO wasn't anywhere near joining NATO and that's well known. Even if it did want to join NATO, so what? Russia has many NATO countries bordering it, Baltics joined in 2004, where is your "imminent" war? There was 18 years to prepare for a war, nothing happened. NATO didn't increase troops in said countries by any meaningful amount, which changed this year because it's clear that Russia is intending to restore Soviet Union as per what Putin recently said.
    What's with the "btw"?

    Russia absolutely cannot afford to stop gas flow to Europe for any long or even medium term. Russia will be in serious trouble in the coming months if it cannot restore gas flows since government revenues will have collapsed by around 50%.

    That's complete nonsense. Your neighbouring countries have no say in it. If yo need to ask your neighbour then you're just a puppet state.

    What are you mumbling about? Finland is joining NATO and has the longest EU border with Russia. Asking for Russia's opinion on it would be like asking a serial rapists if you're allowed to buy pepper spray for protection.
