And what will make diverse people one nation exactly? Without all this underpriviieged minority, racial injustice, islamophobia noise?
you see, when you're a bigot, you lack critical thinking skills and just assume a poor Mexican working the fields has to be illegal. Bracero program be damned.
That's how people on the left are trying to justify their open borders doctrine, the country needs trespassers from poor countries to labor in the fields. Impressive display of critical thinking.
99 aren't criminals. That's naive. They're looking for opportunity. Some are also looking for freebies. But I don't understand why we can't have a mixed bag of immigrants instead of solely focusing on the southern border. Plenty of Europeans and South Americans are being denied which is unfortunate and dumb. Simple pandering by the Dems for obvious votes.
What make diverse people one nation? We are all willing to set aside our differences and work towards making this a better place for all. We need to be willing to respect different view points. Diversity is a hidden strength: When the nation faces difficulties there are always people with the right skills to solve the problem. Imagine in a pandemic, if we all have identical genetic makeup, we may be wiped out whereas if there are lots of different genetic makeups among us, some will survive and so will we as a country. It is unfortunate the political climate is so polarized. We need to listen and implement the best of both the left and the right. I am not a fan of Trump but I support his China trade policy.
Yeah, its confusing. No one says a "2nd generation immigrant" when someone is born here. No idea why they even use the word generation in this context. You're either born here, or you're an immigrant. Theres no "generation" about it.
