There is little or no chance (this is math for probability for the benefit of moderators) that any person can eliminate time from consideration and turn to "relative" considerations. Notice each has a vertical dimension where contacts are the unit of measure. They are granular. I discovered that trends contunue or end based on what is permissable and what is not permissible. I could not get FF to post a log and he invented a simpler log. He, in effect, destroyed keeping current on the events that continue or terminate a trend by using precision mathematics. Trading is a precise science with no noise, no flaws nor any anomalies. This is not true for most people. That is the result of consequences they obtained by wrecking their brains. A trend begins with a point. This point establishes to ability to measure vectors in the independent and dependent variables. The point is assigned TO a market independent variable. It is the UPPER value of a range or band. Since the independent variable is proven to be volume, the point is on a display pane that records volume. To have a band, there has to be another value in that variable. FF cannot get this. Almost no one can fathom this. So that gives a REMARKABLE advantage to those who can. As always, in trading, the minority rule. as you see HFT games the market. It is done by those who figure out how to game markets. That is their goal. Using band width theory is the opposite and strives as its goal to take the full offer of the market. Today ET, changes from considering taking the full offer of the market to just becoming a hunting organization. Moderators hunt for "fuck" and newbies hunt for shortcuts and inventions. Older members go away except for very serious detractor hunter (for 11 years, for example). Hunters do not work. T1 stands for the lowest number of contracts in an information parcel for a given trend. T1 is measured mathematically relative to the assigned P1 that began the trend. T1 occurs as trend overlap ends. This is a precise mathematically defined event. When T1 and P1 are established the trend can continue. The trend has a defined range in the independent variable. Let your mind tell you when this turns to gibberish. Gibberish is what is known as the place where hunters hunt. They cannot read facts. All they do is look for something to aim at. The A band starts as you can see (25 people will actually look at the pic.) and that is called being in force. This is the PRIMARY BAND on the trading fractal. Three moves are required for "The Pattern" of the market. This is an anchor like no other in any industry. It is like the periodic table. 3 is a big number in the mathematics of the market. The first leg ends at peak 2 of the independent variable. As is seen this P2 may be in or out of the A band. The A band does not change by the event of P2. B band measures the second non dominant leg of the trend. So its range is between P2 and T2. T2 is cut finer than the PRIMARY to be able to be a part of the SECONDARY as well. T2P makes its appearnace as a consequence. Band B is shown as a zone between two volume values and a range is formed. I cross hatched it and labelled its parts and labelled the beginning and end of the events based band. Four values in volume have occurred. Two bands result. This defines in volume a trend that is continuing A SECONDARY is in the future and that future is coming into the Present and will sit in the Past, eventually. This is a dynamic. Instead of using this, FF invents around it to have a simpler non functional result to use. The flow of the secondary is an identity with the flow of the primary. The secondary is a subfractal well deifned third move of the trend. Reversing happens at the end of this move, usually. By printing my pic, a person can draw in a P2F. Then the C band appears as a range between P2P and P2F. What precise purpose does each and every band perform? This is way beyond ET membership. BUT it is true that if a construction, mathematically, can take place, it does have an inherent value. Taking the full offer of the market for ET is too much to handle. A simple use of the test procedure will prove this. Put a bar ending between T2P and T2F (this is named a C band Pass). It is actually an End Effect for a trend. Use the test procedure: 1. Is the bar a T2F? No you log an F for False. 2. Is the bar any rev chron value that defines a band that is inforce (has happened and is precisely defined mathematically)? P2, T1, and P1 are false. Draw the arrow and put in F's 3. What primary or secondary in continue is the NEXT element? None except for not T2P, not T2F , not not T2P or not not T2F. BUT these are sub sub fractal terms and are not primary or secondary. All the above is codable and simple to code. If the test procedure yields all falses, does this mean anything mathematically with respect to the applicable zone? The eyes can sense this point you drew as a bar end immediately and even unconsciously. you have watched two movements: The PRV and the actual volume converge to the exact point. Actually the future coming into the Present "locks in before the end of the bar. And it is an END Effect by the logic that the TREND IS NOT CONTIUING by paradigm theory where the Parametric Measure resides. The blue C band had a bar end in it. the bar is defined to a T because it is a failsafe necessity. This is just more gibberish to ET. But to a place that has the opportunity to move forward, it is not just gibberish. To get to this example which is kinda pure and simple, I passed over all the PP's, all the A band and both the bband elements, 23 to be exact. The big guns in the mathematics of the market are: Keynes for paradigm theory, Carnap for logic theory, Boole for Algebra, Manderbrot for fractals. The Scientific Method is pricelss and has no single inventor. Waht is so nice about trading markets is that you use a leading indicator of Price to call reversals. you can just sit to the right of the Present and take in the independent variable "lock ins' on the bands and carve the full offer of the markets. In the future, the delivery of cogent information parcels WILL NOT BE BASED UPON BUNDLES THAT ARE GROUPED BY TIME PERIODS. And the SAME bands will apply. In trading to make the full offer, the window is quite wide, that will also be know to traders in the near future. For me, using science and mathematics is the solution to taking the full offer. The full offer is measured and is the performance standard. The "cheater" in trading is "always knowing that you know". It is a nice set of feeleings: comfort, support and confidence. Et only has anxiety, fear and mostly ANGER. There is NO WAY I can will myself to BE DO HAVE in ET. It wants to die and so thats how it goes as a consequence.

Thanks Jack! I just want to comment on the above: I did NOT invent the simpler log. From the way you post/write I can sense that you are full of anger, impulsiveness, impatience and a feeling of supremacy. All of this can be explained by your age, current situation with Liz, your past experience here on ET and your character. Fine with me I can deal with that. But let's stick to the facts! The log was dictated by YOU. You told me what to put in the columns. You even used it to show based on a crappy chart how to use it. So I tried to replicate what you did. I ran into difficulties because of lacking or incomplete instructions. I know where to put the pen and how to move it to the next column. What was missing was the information or let's say the criteria to use to go to the next column. Example: You have a T in the P1 column. Next bar comes in you test again if you have a P1. What is the criteria to test if it is a new P1? Here it is: If new volume bar > previous then assign a P1. If new volume bar < previous then assign T1. So far so good? This was the easiest. Let's say you have a T1 (remember you put your lousy pen in the P1column, you marked an F and you moved your pen to the T1 column where you put a "T") the next bar is larger. Now it already is trickier. You need to measure if it is larger than the previous T1 but smaller than the P1 or is it even larger than the previous P1. The result determines if you go to the left or to the right in the log. That's just examples which show that the missing information which criteria to use and how to use the results limited my possibility to post further logs. OK, you started with the simple log and then you added the other 5 volume elements again without the criteria to use. Now you add PPs and bands. Those PPs and bands were not part of YOUR original volume log. The thing is, if you REALLY wanted me to "get it" you would/should have done it differently. You would not have bullshitted me with your phone number, email address, USB stick, GTM, workaround, etc. But Jack, don't get me wrong... Even though I sometimes would like to grab you by your ponytail and smash your head into your damn keyboard, I'm grateful for what you already shared and the effort you put into trying to explain it to me.
