Incredibly naivety and brainwashing here. Biden has claimed the most basic constitutional rights aren't absolute, while saying his exec orders and laws drafted/enforced by unconstitutional 3-letter and "independent" agencies are. It's also funny how clowns like yourself said nothing as true insurrections happened all over the republic to the tune of of over $2 billion in damages, over 30 deaths, hundreds of police officers injured and literal secession in several cities. But you cry like a baby about an odd event with heavy Fed and informant presence that wasn't even close the same scale as what Antifa/BLM domestic terrorists did.
I am and never have been in support of anything even slightly related to Q , Trump , or anything related to the January 6th fiasco. You can't use that to try to discredit me or answer my question. Those individuals are delusional and thinking that they were doing anything good with their actions. All they did was justify more intrusive action by the state. Biden from my understanding is trying to fund a lot of money towards domestic terrorists investigations.. I'm pacifist I don't believe any of that stuff. It's aggressive and it's anti-intellectual . I'm sorry I shouldn't have been so aggressive towards you but I find it crazy that people believe that it's okay to be taxed half your income.. whether it's through democracy or any other type of political apparatus
You can't use the fact that Democratic leaders were instituted via voting as a justification for this level of taxation. Three out of five people voted that the other two have to pay all the taxes doesn't make any sense and isn't fair. Taxation is used in one sense to deter behavior and then in another they tax income and think it won't deter people from working. Taxation is unnecessary friction in the market. Sure you could argue for some small level of taxation but look how far we are away from that the slippage in our lives is so big. And a bureaucracy the system of incentives is to do less to gain more money per unit of work.. in a free market exchange entrepreneurs constantly work towards improving processes and creating inventions to raise our standard living so that they can make money the profit motive. The system of incentives inside the political system and the bureaucracy is exactly the opposite. The only way to make more money is to create a fiefdom and the less effective your bureaucracy is the more money it gets cuz that's always the answer in government more money.
I agree 100% but if I have to pay my fair share of taxes be it excessive then by all means big corporations/ Billionaires should have to do the same. Talk about fair.
Those jan 6 people were rising up against tyranny (at least in their minds). do you only follow the laws you believe in?
I follow the law because I don't wanna be kidnapped and incarcerated...not because I think they are just laws....seat belt laws...laws against drug use...all victimless crimes ..... But what are you really getting at? Are you implying that because I hold libertarian beliefs I'm a criminal? And or because I use the word tyranny I am a domestic terrorist insurrectionist? Just be honest with me
The point of the thread is that the IRS is going enforce tax laws at lower levels than in the past. You brought up revolting against tyranny and that this was unjust. So you are ascribing some other morality than the law and the constitution. So im probing to understand where you draw the line of tyranny and “unjust” because those jan 6 douchebags drew the line at a different place and I draw it at another. The only objective line for america is the constitution, the supreme courts interpretation of it, and the laws the politicians we have elected enact.
Bringing up those douchebags in relation to the argument with me doesn't help your case... I am arguing that that the level of taxation we have now is unjust and that wanting more taxation is self defeating ...it doesn't accomplish the goals of those who tout it.. I think you just paint anyone who disagrees with the taxes and laws of the United States with a wide brush because it's easier for you to understand
It’s the IRS enforcing the already implemented law. If you thought it was unjust you should have voted against those politicians before they passed the tax law that supports this action. you used the word “tyranny” and talked of revolutions. Maybe you shouldn’t call every law you don’t like as “tyranny” and compare it to slavery.
