  2. We had their house specialty...Roast Duck with a sauce made from it's blood with Foie Gras and Black Truffles.

But what really got me was the '88 Chateau Le Pin for $1700

US ambassador to France Warren Christopher and Henry Kissinger sat next to us. Which in and of itself is no big deal....but the four Parisian hotties they had with them were.

    :D

  4. Obviously you are one of those people that do not get it, it's not about losing wars dude, it's about losing the war and your own homeland without a fight, which FRANCE did in WWII. Sounds like a DEFENSELESS nation to me. The Americans can be proud because if it were not because of them the Germans (and Japan) would have won WWII, period. Just as France can be proud that they are the reason the Americans won it's independence.

It's funny you bring up Vietnam, where the silly French conqurored a bunch of defenseless farmers and ran the place for years until these farmers got some weapons from the Chinese and then ran for their lives sayin, "F* this, they're actually shooting back with guns YO!, Avoir!!!!".

So in this modern age can you at least understand why everyone doesn't exactly think France is this tough powerhouse, lol?

  5. When these "hardline fanatic Christians" are injuring an average of 14 police officers a night and burning hundreds of cars a night, get back to us.

The KKK membership doesn't number in the millions, in addition, in their deranged way the KKK consider themselves AMERICAN patriots not disenfranchised Muslims attempting to usurp the laws and traditions of the country and found their own sub-nation. Also, anytime the KKK gathers, they are outnumbered 10-to-1 by protesters. Do similiar backlashs occur in France against these Muslims nutjobs?

“The thing that has changed over the past month is that they now want to kill us,” said Bruno Beschizza, the leader of Synergie, a union to which 40 per cent of officers belong. Action Police, a hardline union, said: “We are in a civil war, orchestrated by radical Islamists.”

    ...

"Sebastian Roche, a sociologist who has published a book on the riots, said that torching a vehicle had become a standard amusement. “There is an apprenticeship of destruction. Kids learn where the petrol tank is, how to make a petrol bomb,” he told The Times."

You guys are F*CKED. How can you possibly placate them, they are nuts...

Funny, to compare Kuresh with a "a civil war, orchestrated by radical Islamists" is beyond a stretch.

  10. I am entirely aware of the fact that KKK types and white power groups and soforth are a small minority. Why do so many Americans seem to think the Islamic nut cases here are not a small minority ? When you watch FOX TV, one would think that France is on the brink of being taken over by Islam.... this is far from reality.

It seems that there is an awful lot of confusion between the urban violence in France and the Muslum issue. Most of the kids involved in the burning of vehicles and causing shit in general are your basic hash smoking idiot with a pair of Nikes, a jogging suit, and a baseball cap worn sideways that thinks "YO" is a conjunction... a far cry from your hardline Muslum.
