True about the porn sites, but freedom of speech should be respected. Your proposal about the censoring of sicknesses is praiseworthy, but opinions, extremist or not, should never be censored. Infringement on the first amendment is a crime that should not even pass through one's mind. A certain group want to stop freedom of speech on certain issues, but they can't care less about children being raped and put on the internet. A theory, propably more true than not, raises the possibility that this is because the group in question is said to be heavily invested in the porn industry.

Oddly enough, I have never stumbled across "paedophile" porn or beastiality porn in all my years of surfing. Maybe you should examine your personal habits and what you are doing to take you to those sites. As far as censorship - who makes the decision on what to censor? You? GWB? So you don't want any gay porn on the net...what will you decide next, no porn between blacks and whites? No Jewish porn? No ugly people porn? I think you have issues. Stop looking for stuff that causes you to see pedophiles and people screwing animals. And learn tolerance towards those different than you (gay people). I am not gay, and oddly enough I RARELY stumble on gay porn sites. You really need to figure out why YOU keep ending up at all of these sites.
Well, it certainly depends on what you are surfing. Children are much more likely to stumble on those sites, as they are more likely to search for topics adults don't search for. - their curiousity will likely cause many of them to see those sicknesses. Also, they are likely to search for things that are illegal (piracy, drugs,etc) and often are associated with pornographic/lowlife sites. Most parents don't have a clue what their kids are doing online, and they would propably be horrified if they knew. I personally did some research on the subject, and was stunned by the amount of sick crap that's actually on the net. Some of these paedophile sites even offer rewards for those who can refer clients to them. I just don't understand why no judiciary action is taken to get rid of all of it. If you are a parent, i'd strongly recommend to get a good filter to prevent your children, and particulary your boys, from seeing sick perversity.

If your concearned about your children finding porn on the internet THEN MONITOR WHAT THEY ARE DOING!! If you claim that you can't monitor them every minute of every day then GET RID OF THE INTERNET IN YOUR HOME!! How about parents start parenting. And STOP teaching your children to be bigots!!! Like it or not your kids will HAVE to interact with people from differant ethnic backgrounds, differant religions, and yes even the dreaded gay person. These people will be their teachers, bosses, and coworkers. And maybe, just maybe if your child is looking at gay porn he or she might be trying to tell your bigoted ass something.
