Says the guy who can't argue like an adult and who just like the kids who took selfies showing their fingers to a room in an university, think that somehow this will make them "win a discussion" or "show how right they are"...
And let's not forget this one: https://www.elitetrader.com/et/thre...ford-single-payer.310740/page-38#post-4580424
"Seriously, STFU.", you said. Classic adult stuff... Curiously, I found two pages of you repeating this here... So,aparently, on a regular basis, you really "argue" like those teenage girls in movies, when they can't argue anymore...:D
So, yet another one to prove what I wrote... It's like you people are drawn to this like insects to light... You just have to keep serving as examples of what I wrote, without even realizing how embarrassing for you people this is...:)

I'll put you there with your buddies in the "club" for people who aren't civilized enough to talk respecfully to others.;)

    Bye.:)

Most people full of shit think they do.

See, this is what you just don't get. My response didn't fail, you just didn't like it. I don't really give a crap what you think is or is not accurate. I never said anything about whether they acted within their mandate or not. You just made that up. What I asked you to provide (and what you did not provide) was a list of other central banks that have a dual mandate.

Again, I never said the Fed should ignore its mandates.

Says you. And your opinion is worth precisely squat. Why not explain why an idea doesn't work or what is wrong with it without simply using adjectives without any analysis or backup? Because in doing so, you'll show how shallow your knowledge base actually is. That's why.

Yeah, you built businesses. Tell us a bit about your businesses you built. I'm interested.

I’m not inclined to rehash why blowing up the Fed is a bad idea. You’ll just have to brood on that while the Fed chugs along and continues to exist.

Ah, so you're saying that your personal experience/opinion is worth more than the history of your own country(which, as defined by Milton Friedman himself, has it's origins in what today is called libertarianism, because the country had a small government, a constitution that intended to keep it that way and the generated the wealthiest country in history) and therefore I should just accept that opinion as fact?

Once more, if I'm forced to take an opinion as fact, I would rather take the Nobel Laureate's and one of the most important economists of this time over yours...

Also, the fact that you claim that just because I'm from a foreign country, my opinion has no value is simply idiotic(like your buddies, instead of counterarguing and explaining why you think my idea is wrong, you simply say your opinion and expect that all just take it as "the truth".)...

I would argue that precisely because I live in a foreign country, I have a better take on what you people are trying to turn your country into... Because my country is the result of the idiotic policies that you people so fiercely defend... But you simply prefer to close your eyes and pretend that your country won't be fucked up like every other that implemented your stupid ideas...( As always, ignoring facts and logic).

And in another proof of ignorance, you claim that libertarians are an exclusivity of the U.S., maybe your state(which would magically make me have no base to judge). So, here are a few links:

https://novo.org.br/ - this is the official site of Brazil's "libertarian" party(they defend the exact same ideas that libertarians do and they elected, among others, a governor of one of the most important states in the country: Minas Gerais).

    https://www.mises.org.br/

    https://www.institutomillenium.org.br/

But, same M.O. as your buddies, personal attacks, no real base for your arguments... Not worth my time... I'll put you there with them, maybe others will read it and find it interesting...

    Bye.

  10. Libertarianism is a personality affectation, like vegans or hipsters. moderately wealthy middle class professionals who don't understand anything farther than their own reach. before the party they were the same men saying the givernment has no right to tell them to give up their slaves. then no right to tell them to not employ minors, then minimum wage and on and on predicting disaster at every turn.

I stood at my door not long past with the local libertarian splaining to me how a 40 percent rise in the minimum wage would 'murder' business. nobody was asking for this but the guy had a little whiteboard and a sharpie to show how a massive wage hike in one go could hurt a construction business already in a fixed price contract. but there was no minimum wage hike more than cents but what was real meant nothing to the maniac with his sharpie and whiteboard and simple little message.
