  1. Donations made by religious followers to the church are nothing short of extortion. "Give us money or you will go to hell."

  2. as long as we are following leviticus why not this:
All who curse their father or mother must be put to death. They are guilty of a capital offense. (Leviticus 20:9 NLT)

i have never seen anyone more fixated on homosexuals than you. it makes one wonder if you may have a few strong urges in that direction you are uncomfortable with.

  3. What a terribly ignorant and biased post. You'll never see an atheist or a socialist helping in those communities? Puhlease!

I am against all religion, but even I admit that there are certain religious people who do a lot of good in the world. Unfortunately, my opinion is that there are more who do no good than there are who do good.

It's all relative on an individual basis. Saying that one religion is more benevolent than another is nonsense. There are corrupt people and benevolent people within each religion.

I applaud those religious people who dedicate their lives to helping people, no matter what their motivation (I want to go to heaven!). If religion is their motivator to do good in the world, then all of the power to them. However, religion is more often a motivator to do terrible things in the world rather than good.

In case your pea brain hasn't figured it out, you gave no indication of your religion prior to that post. Which makes you just another fucktard rightie with delusions of grandeur. Most likely you're just a sockpuppet for an old ET deceiver. We also know you're a racist (your "mud people" mention).

  5. Some Catholic leaders have contended that because 80 percent of the abuse victims were male, the crisis must have been caused by gay priests acting out. But Dr. Terry said she found that abusers were confused about their sexuality and had poor social skills, but had no clear pattern of homosexual behavior

  6. Surely you can't be serious...I didn't think anyone still thought that HIV was a gay phenomena...

Put to death? What about thou shall not kill? Or does that rule only apply when it is convenient?

It applies when the person is innocent.

That should be obvious from the fact that people were commanded to put the guilty to death in the old testament.

The correct translation of the commandment is "Thou shall not murder".

  9. oh he means it. he is one twisted religious nutcase. in response to a question about why his god allows innocent little children to die he said that maybe god killed them because he knew they would grow up and become homosexual.

  10. i wish i was wired that way. it is a great profession. you get paid a handsome salary to get up and lecture people. if you are really good you get to become a tv preacher and become a multi millionaire scaming gullible people out of their money. all legal. and it gets better. its all tax free. there has never been a more lucritive moneymaking scheme ever devised by man than selling jesus.
