The House Health Care Bill is 1990 Pages

  1. The need is to reform the Health Care Insurers not the care givers ..so much. Take the free money out of the hands of middle men Insurers, who somehow have managed to insert themselves between care givers and patients and are profiting by it in the billions.

The bank alternative is a falsified fallacy. You'd have to get into what is meant by "run". To the extent banks are subject to regulations by government you could say they're run by government, and to an extent should be. The public option isn't suggesting government profit from the public option just to
use it as way to lower premiums for working people ...remove the middle man.

If Health Care Insurers ran Medicaid do you think it would cost taxpayers less if you had to add their profit margins and the salaries in?

  3. A point which eludes the Administration. Via Medicare/Medicade the structure to provide care for EVERYBODY is already in place. All they'd need to do is figure out how to price and pay for it all.

But nooooooo.... gotta have "Obamacare"... which isn't REALLY about medical treatment at all... it's about a gigantic power grab.

  4. Thats the bullshit Health Insurance lobbyists spend millions a day to scare working people into thinking Insurers are on their side (...powdered wigs).
Obama isn't going "make money" from this -- power grab? Transparent sophistry.

  5. The US Constitution is not a statement in principles. Its is the document that sets of the rules and allocation of power for the US Government. Another leftwing, statist is clueless as usual.

  6. Wow...would you please provide some factual data to support this?

And while your at it, how about a profit margin comparison of the health insurance industry vs other industries. I bet that would help you with your argument...?

They are so vague they are more akin to principles than they are policy and procedure. You jumped on a term and missed the point.

Government run health care is scary on its own merits.

  9. No you missed the point. America is having a debate on healthcare and the democrats are losing badly. The bill offered by Pelosi is a testment to the inefficiency of government. If your ideas and logic are so convoluted that it requires 1990 pages to get them down on paper, it is blatanly obvious that this does not make the problem better, it makes it worst.

1990 pages is nothing nowadays, lol. We have engineering processes here that are described in entire filing cabinets. And when it comes to law, well, then we are talking about entire libraries. This is a large, technologically advanced culture. There has never been anything to exceed or even match it ever before.
