Any thoughts on Graham Watches ? I like them and own this one. http://www.graham1695.com/en-gb/home.aspx
Graham's are very nice. I like the dial a lot. I had taken one in on a trade for a Tutima, but sold it as I can't get used to white-dials. I would like a black dial with white subs.
They make a huge variety of dials and styles. This one is on the list to buy http://www.graham1695.com/en-gb/collection/chronofighter/oversize-superlight/2ccbkb11ak95k.aspx
Don't know why, but I can't stand white dials either. Strange.. One I would own is a MOP white dial with gold around the sub dials, Breitling. I know, Breitlingcan be a constant service watch, but do like with that setup. Other than that, just can't bring myself to own any white dial pieces. I do like the new two tone Yachtmaster Eric Bolling wears. Has the blue bezel, blue complication at 6:00 o' clock, and white dial. Has a clean look to it.. Would own. I believe is around $25k, not sure now that am no longer married to "the Rolex girl." Will post pics later. And no, don't own either, but would consider the Breitling.
This one I could do: http://keepthetime.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=234 Two tone yachtmaster I could do: http://www.chrono24.com/en/rolex/116681-two-tone-yacht-master-ii-steel--everose-gold--id1979740.htm And yeah, is in Hong Kong, the land of fake junk. I'll run to the bank now.. And when I typed in "two tone yachtmaster Rolex," in google images, I kept clicking on pics that were for "replica" watches.. That's what they're called now, lol. And that's damn scary, as thought the ones I saw were the real deal til I read replica.. Hello Rolex? There's 10:1 more pics of the fakes, than the genuine on google! Learned LONG AGO, ALWAYS buy from actual Rolex dealers, and if it's a pre owned piece, take the damned thing to a Rolex dealer with the owner right there, before purchase! My Wife saw tons of Rolex with a genuine movement, put in Chinese case, and bracelet. These made it past even the dealers at first.. Could go on about what she's seen done by the Asians. And all I can say, is they do have talent, as the Sub she showed me, I absolutely couldn't tell the difference, and she had a watch back tool I used to check out the Rolex STAMPED movement throughout what wound up being an eta movement. Wow! Scary doesn't sum up buying a Rolex these days, hence, taking a recent seller with me to a large dealer for verification. And if the guy's a reputable dealer, but on-line, they usually have ways to guarantee the watch is genuine. But still, buyer beware when it comes to Rolex, and I guess anything else the Asians can knock out with what I'd consider pretty damned convincing stuff for junk. Lol
Looks like that would dig into my arm. And do like the automotive series silverstone RS skeleton! The red. Very nice! Now should I ask the price? Lol
Yeah, that is a cool watch. I think they are around $9000. The Chronofighters can be had for around $3000 on the second hand market--- I paid around that for mine.
