This is my setup (guitars not shown). This is now incorporated into pro tools (mac pro not pictured), and will most likely be phased out as I complete the remaining projects produced on these drives. They are now outdated.
There was an international DJ who use to post here named DJ Eric Ross. ERtrader was his handle. http://djrankings.org/DJ-ERIC_ROSS Trading and EDM--- maybe a connection?
Dude, that's nothing to joke about. You are joking--- right??? That's a very serious allegation. You best have your facts.
Facts straight or what? No asswipe, I am serious. And his nick was not ertrader. It was emrglobal Eric Ross, DJ, pedophile and trafficker of child pornography. He sent the pics to many of us via private message. He also used an exploit to post them to ET forums. He admitted it to Baron, but tried to cover his tracks stating that some of the pics were a child's head photoshopped on a woman's body. http://www.elitetrader.com/et/index.php?threads/warning.231629/page-31#post-3389389 Friend of yours? http://www.elitetrader.com/et/index...ican-dream-is-over.218604/page-7#post-3151475
Strange thing... one of surfer's alises responded to the eric ross thread: JunkBondS It's astonishing that this clown can find the one dbag with a worse-rep than his own... and bring it up as though he has no idea. Astounding. Can we move on now? wjk: I love your rig. Keep me aprised on your upgrades. What monitors are those? I have some Gennies (8030), Neumanns; and I just bought some Event Opals.
Whoa, what a sick fuck. Never met the guy but heard he was ex schonfield worked with the Russian. He sent me an invite years ago to go to some party at Hugh Hefner's house. I'm happy I never took him up on it!
Do you mean electronic dance music? If so, I would say not necessarily. But if you were to say all styles of music, maybe. I've performed on many instruments, produced, and mixed styles from hard rock, country rock, country, bluegrass, classical, traditional and "smooth" jazz. I have not worked with EDM. Here's a guy who is strictly easy listening jazz, but sounds to me like he might be a good trader. The monitors are the Alesis monitor-2's I spoke of. The mix cubes aren't shown, but are currently on top of the Alesis's, with appropriate sound cushioning between. I built the speaker stands and added wheels for easy mobility. I'll post an updated pick in the future as my new design takes shape. Still kind of disorganized with the added flat screens for the pro tools. Have to move things around at mix time. The shot you see was taken last year. The keyboard and little mixing board you see are 25 years old. How's that for vintage!? Hey, they still work. You can't see the racks, but I've mostly been using korg synth modules midi'd from the Roland you see (the little device you see below the keys is a midi patch bay), but since I bought pro tools, I'll mostly be using the air tech plugins. I bought the complete package. Awesome, including the strike2 drums. The synths in the plugins are incredible, as are the drums. I also purchased a Blue Cat multi track spectrum analyzer (can analyze 16 tracks at once) and analyzer pro for single track frequency analysis. They have a free plugin for spectrum analysis (and other tools), also, which I downloaded to demo their paid product. A must for me in simplifying mixing. (I have one project that has over 70 tracks when you add in the drums and percussion...One of the few that I hired a live drummer to work on.)
