    How about Marketwatch?

Biden’s Treasury Department said it’s proposing “a minimum tax of 25 percent on total income, generally inclusive of unrealized capital gains, for all taxpayers with wealth (that is, the difference obtained by subtracting liabilities from assets) greater than $100 million.”

Funny how Piezoe skipped over the fact that he was wrong about ZH and you being gullable, and then also ignored the stupidity of trying to tax unrealized gains.

Let's tax people on something they bought, but haven't sold for a profit yet. Dumb idea after dumb idea.

All of this from the self-described "Libertarian".

Will the Democrat politicians and rich Democrat donors allow that, when it affects them? This crazy idea will not pass because it will hit the political class. They will not slash their own throats. I have yet, to see any politician voluntarily tax themselves. They will tax the poor, loyal extreme liberal progressives because they are expendable and nobody would care if they get taxed to their eyeballs. All the politicians will do is raise sales taxes or adjust the tax brackets higher. The loyal peons would be paying higher taxes without a clue it is happening to them. Easy peasy.

In the traditional sense of the meaning of that word; not in the sense of anarco, laissez faire captitalism that you yourself represent and mistakenly describe as "Libertarian". Although I will give you this: the word "libertarian" has been successfully hijacked by americans who oddly describe themselves as "libertarians".
