I'm not so sure that is incorrect. I bitch and moan about my losses just to let others know it happens to everybody. There are so many cocksure unrealistict so called new traders on ET that I never like to talk about my winners. Who wants to add fuel to the fire? But yes, I would agree. It's always nice to hear from someone who just made it through a hard time And at that point, they always seem to have a good attitude. I'm kind of cynical. The way I see it, if you are bitching about taxes, you are probably doing ok.
I'm trying hard to get rid of any attitude when I'm attempting to enter or exit a position. Just complete focus on what is unfolding in front of me.

I give him a hard time now and then because I have never known anybody to be profitable bracket trading. But that is just to let him know somebody is reading his journal, and it's not a waste of time. as a matter of fact, I find his late night trades (for those of us in USA) with those tight stops to be quite calming. He wants to be consistent for a reason--- to eliminate the mistakes of violating his discipline that have caused him "big chunks of profit".
