  1. "Obama knows what con men have long known, that their job is not to convince skeptics but to enable the gullible to continue to believe what they want to believe. He does that very well." - Thomas Sewell, 10.08

  7. Hey insider trading people have never felt strongly against a candidate before. It is either the color of his skin or it is the issues of his past. Are you willing to bet that everyone who is so strongly against Obama is racist?

  8. No.But many of them are

  9. Do you think the majority of McCain supporters are racist?

  10. I don't know the exact %.I would consider a majority over 50 %,I don't think that many of his supporters are racist. Some are racist and some are obviously very stupid. Research shows Obama leads among the educated and Mccain leads among the uneducated

Educated people know that Mccain and Hilary has shady associates just like Obama does.Educated people know that Republicans raise less taxes but adds far more to the national debt then democrats.Educated people are much harder to fool then Mccain and Palin supporters

PRINCETON, NJ -- Barack Obama leads John McCain by a significant margin among voters with the most education, but trails the likely Republican nominee among voters with the least formal education.

Thus, it appears that Obama's strong showing among educated voters in the Democratic nomination contest would extend to the general election as well.

These results are based on aggregated data from Gallup's daily tracking survey, spanning March 31 to April 6 interviewing. Obama and McCain were tied at 45% for the general election among all registered voters in these data.

Obama's weaker performance among voters with less education is inconsistent with the typical pattern seen in general-election contests, in which the Democratic candidate tends to do better than the Republican among this group.

But Obama makes up for his poorer performance among voters with the least formal education by doing well against McCain among college graduates -- particularly those with postgraduate education (who tend to vote Democratic) but also on a relative basis among those with a four-year college degree only, a reliable Republican group. Among four-year college graduates, Obama and McCain run even.

Schneider: College educated, non-religious voters carry Obama

From CNN Senior Political Analyst Bill Schneider

(CNN) – CNN just predicted Obama will win the Oregon primary. How did the Illinois senator win there so easily?

Obama won overwhelming support from Oregon voters who attended college. Nearly 60 percent of that demographic went for Obama there and those voters made up nearly 80 percent of the demographic.

"Barack Obama continued to do well among voters who are younger, better-educated and wealthier; he solidified his support among African-Americans; and he ran strongly among men, including white men," said William A. Galston, a senior fellow for governance studies at the Brookings Institution.
