How far back in the country's history of poor immigrants did you want to go?

Til you prove your implicit point about Reagan's tax cuts ... you still have not.

I do not have to fight a taunting 6yo to prove I can beat a taunting 6yo, the premise is clearly flawed.

    This was the premise...

and being you presented nothing showing harm to the middle class this is how you chose to support your premise.

That goes to my point. Why should I support or refute an argument re Reagan and the middle class when there's no data showing benefit or harm to the middle class during Reagan?

Maybe your anecdotal support is because your friends and acquaintances worked for the MIC in those years?

I was not asking you to... you brought Reagan into this... not me.

I can show big inflation since the 70s. (and probably much more)

I can show the stats which show the standard of living of our middle class has not improved if you use the 70s as a baseline... as I remember the thread here and one of the articles..

I can show million of immigrants

I can show that millions of people don't even have to pay income tax anymore so I have no idea how Reagan's tax cuts hurt them.

But... I was wondering if you had any support for your beliefs.

Yours are way more complicated. According to you, the decline of the middle class is not neo-liberalism, not Reaganism, not Thatcherism, not the fall of union membership, and yet you also say the middle class benefited massively during Reagan even though wages were flat and inflation massive since the 70s. My belief is that your beliefs are in contradiction, but conveniently preserve the magic of Reagan and the evil of unions. My support for that belief is all that you've said so far.

    That is total horseshit...

Almost every graph you can google no mater what inflation rate they choose

... Shows median incomes went up starting about the time Reagan's tax cuts kicked in.

    Google it...

    2. Now I would use a higher inflation rate.
And I would include other factors in the standard of living..

But in light of the robust showing of an increase in median income after Reagan's tax cut...

    you are dead ass wrong.
