the former us president is a disbarred attorney... what he thinks is irrelevant. this is a legal question that has nothing to do with the 14th amendment. It has to do with whether the treasury can write checks and the Fed can buy them up or cash them. Frankly, I think they can. But, I I know the bankers will not want that done so Obama will wind up caving on spending cuts if the Republicans decide to hold firm on cuts.
