There is something about whether a reasonable person will know that an action that would otherwise be legal is now illegal and a crime with serious penalties. Would tend to violate due process clause and there have been cases on that in the past but little lazy to find it haha. But if they were declared legal to vote and then a separate law was passed that was not clear and government has delivered a mixed message than there is a lack of due process required before depriving someone of liberty and money (prison and fine for 3rd class felony). deSantis muddled this and fucked it up simply to get a sound byte and a camera op but the body cams really make it look bad.
