Democracy - Majority Rules Are we becoming more or less intelligent as a country? If we are becoming more intelligent as a country - majority rules has appeal. If we are becoming less intelligent then majority rules may have some flaws. The fundamental - is a democracy always the best way to make decision regardless of constituents or geography? Are there constraints on a democracy as a decision making mechanism?
