Govt subsidized auto's.
For comparison, govt subsidized housing.
I like it. It looks like it's using Segway technology with safety wheels in the front and rear. If only battery technology progressed to a point where its useful range is more than 10-15 miles, it might actually catch on. On board sensors could control acceleration if an obstacle is detected, like pedestrians or other small battery powered vehicles. If oil hits $150-$200 barrel, which it will some day, the possibilities are endless.
As long as you are never involved in an accident with an SUV.
"The future of GM"
Thats an oxymoron if i ever heard one.
I would like to jump one of those, assuming they go fast enough.
If oil hits $200 gallon ($8+ gallon gas), the SUV will die a slow painful death. But yeah, little side roads like those made for bicycles would be needed.
Parts of europe pay that already.
I bet you could jump over it, too.
