I like it. It looks like it's using Segway technology with safety wheels in the front and rear. If only battery technology progressed to a point where its useful range is more than 10-15 miles, it might actually catch on. On board sensors could control acceleration if an obstacle is detected, like pedestrians or other small battery powered vehicles. If oil hits $150-$200 barrel, which it will some day, the possibilities are endless.
If oil hits $200 gallon ($8+ gallon gas), the SUV will die a slow painful death. But yeah, little side roads like those made for bicycles would be needed.
