I disagree with you on the just as stupid part. People are far more stupid today than they were back then. it really has nothing to do with racism etc.. it's that the silent majority or 'middle class' who pay taxes and save money etc are ripped off of their wealth they take it to the streets. Germany was bankrupt as a country after the crash of 1929 AND their currency became worthless. just look at all the countries where th middle class or silent majority is destroyed from greedy banksters who refuse to writeoff debt and keep making profit at the cost of the destuction of the middleclass via inflation and worthless currency..zimbabwe doesn't have a currency. ie.. it's when the masses(majority)(middleclass) average ain't going to take it anymore they take it to the streets in protest just like how communism grew...the fact is a few people have too much power cotrollign the economy. it's just greed...banks are greedy..the debt that germany incured after world war 1 was greed by the financiers and the germany wanted to break the chains of bank slavery. middleclass revolt or tax revolt. it's same as when peasnats refuse to pay taxes..to a tyrannical gov't or gov't that don't represent for the midddleclass but for few powerful entity. banks are a-holes and greedy....greed is good in wall street but greed is evil.....the greed of the banks who lent money to the winning side wanted their money. and refuse to writeoff bad debts. which led to war. as for black slavery it was free labor(profit motivated) which is slave labor. the south refuse to abandon slavery because it would mean less profits in the plantations. and caused a civil war. you see greed is the root of all evil.

The coming strongman will be elected to fix full blown economic FUBAR, turbocharged by the current bandaids being applied by Obama and the rest in Washington. Both parties will lose control as a new party is swept in. Emergency powers will be declared and life in the good old USA will change in ways that may actually be very positive. It's going to take hard medicine to fix things. This is not far off, both in likelihood and time frame.
