What's wrong with 1984? LOL There was no cameras in the home in 1984? LOL Cameras were super expensive back then. They weren't even digital.
I agree... Why waste resources trying to monitor normal people? What reason is there to treat everyone like a criminal and monitor everyone's activity? You will never be able to hear 100% of everyone on the planets conversation anyway when they can simply just meet in person. Everyone already knows phones can easily be tapped, and there are multiple ways to have a secret conversation without the use of encrypted messages. We waste too much time and resources going after people who don't even harm anyone else, and to treat everyone like a criminal by infringing on their privacy is not the answer. We should be more worried about someone doing harm to someone else than to be worried about "Oh man! My neighbor is selling cocaine! He must be arrested immediately!"
This is likely my last reply to you. No offense intended! You, and the guy I replied to prior ... are certainly interesting. 9/11. How do you know who is, or isn't normal? Get ahold of the excellent TV series from years ago, "The Americans" https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2149175/ 9/11. I know for a fact I have to say this ... Because I know for a fact you'll make assumptions otherwise. Simply giving an opinion as to why another is doing something, doesn't necessarily imply agreement. Soooo ... don't try to hear whatever you can? Don't shoot for 100%? Don't aim for the moon? Aim for the stars? Don't try to make more money, because you'll never be able to make 100% of the money? Soooo ... you're saying this, to say what? Soooo ... how do we know, in advance, who has harmed another? Soooo the police should never investigate, question, obtain phone records, interview friends and family and coworkers, obtain bank records, etc., of a suspect because ... they don't know, beforehand, that they harmed someone. (And they never will, without doing the above.) LOL ... Don't mind me, I'll likely just be watching this show, going forward.
