  1. Who, exactly? Pretty much everybody else in the G20 is doing similar things with their own debt, and nobody outside the G20 matters much.

  2. Well, for one who will buy the debt? Buying it ourselves is a solution? Sounds like a prescription for disaster. Ever heard of a currency crisis? Something will have to give and it looks like it will be QE eventually. If you see a silver lining in that scenario, I would like to hear it.

  3. Beck is really slick and knows how to convince the majority of uneducated middle America that they need less government and to be toothless and health care free is the American way. As our nation is getting less educated, guys like Beck become more and more popular. They are like the WFF Wrestlers. Fake and silly yet looked up by so many.

  4. I think we're underestimating the tea-bagger movement.

These illiterates are like the hovel dwelling Khemer Rouge farmers of Cambodia that revel in illiteracy and medieval values. Highly motivated to do great harm against intellectuals and educated people.

At the moment they don't have a leader. But once someone like Tom DeLay gets their hands on the movement, Things are going to get a whole lot worse for the rest of us.

Anyone who chews tobacco and talks gibberish like beck is their guy. The best we can do is stay fully armed and wait for them to show up at the door step.
