Yes, yes I know. I read Holmes as a kid back when children were expected to learn the seven liberal arts. Holmes fell into realm of logic. I feel now like I have wasted a ton of time. Yes, it is only entertainment, but people in the south and Midwest take their sports seriously. When the Packers beat the Bears there were fans from respective camps who did not speak on Monday. If the NFL is fixing games, it would be a travesty. But this fellow seems to have done his homework. And, like the steroid scandal in baseball it will hurt the sport in the end.
