The longest time it took the House to appoint a Speaker they were saying on CNBC yesterday was 2 months. Kevin McCarthy should have struck a deal if he wanted to be Speaker that badly. This is too important a job to appoint just anyone. Problem with Republicans is they have to many RINOs in their ranks who do nothing for most Americans, most of the time. They need someone with a backbone and that is not Kevin McCarthy.

On a practical level, it is argued that this provision could result in there being multiple acting presidents in a short period of time during a national crisis and weaken the public legitimacy of successors.[30][44] In a January 2011 Roll Call op-ed, Representative Brad Sherman wrote,

[The bumping provision] creates a game of musical chairs with the presidency and would cause great instability. In a time of national crisis, the nation needs to know who its president is.[45]

We should make sure US elections are run honestly, because as we have already seen, anyone can be US President as long as is they can manage to cheat on a wholesale basis and supported by their party. Clean elections should not even be a party issue, it is a national security issue because the safety of majority of Americans is in the hands of the US President.
