Maybe I need a little refresher on whose vagina was involved in 2015. Is there a backstory there that I did not keep up with? My recollection is that McCarthy withdrew in 2015 because of the backlash where he went full idiot and said that the republicans investigated Benghazi just to hurt Hillary's political chances. Apparently I failed to sufficiently follow somone's vagina. Who you referring to?
Oh... no. Not her again. We had a enough of Renee in North Carolina. She could not even place in the top 4 in the 2020 N.C. GOP Lt. Governor primary.
Clearly I am not staying on top of all the vaginas in play. Wait. That did not sound right. I actually never heard of her. Anyway, the point of my post was that this is not the first time that McCarthy has gotten 90% of the way and then could not close the deal. That point stands even with my lack of knowledge of Renee Elmers and her aforementioned vagina.
Democrats can actually now have a say in who will be elected speaker. With the vote so tight for McCarthy and him seemingly unable to get 20 or so republicans to vote for him, democrats can begin negotiating to abstain from voting to get McCarthy elected. How they may want to use this I don’t know but it is really a tool the democrats can use. For every 1 no vote for McCarthy there needs to be 2 democrats that abstain. So right now that would mean 40 democrats abstaining would get McCarthy over the finish line. This would also effectively neuter the House Freedom Caucus.
LOL House Democrats cheer as McCarthy fails to clinch speakership multiple times https://www.foxnews.com/politics/ho...arthy-fails-clinch-speakership-multiple-times
Find a better GOP candidate... after he sucked the trump dick after jan 6th, he committed career suicide....plenty of other GOPs waiting behind him haha
20,21,22,23,24 and Jordan won't even take the job. Trump is impossible and even he endorsed McSwamp. Dems have nothing to fear from their play, pretend opponents.
In practical terms this House won't do anything except cause disruption to the debt ceiling and funding the government.
