    You said: "Since you apparently have access to the "real" video, could you kindly post for us as well?"

    I saw the entire TV program last Saturday were Harvard historian Niall Ferguson explains America's place in the new world economic order - a CNN program by Fareed Zakaria called "GPS".

    You posted the link to Porter Stansberry presentation about the “End of America”.

    Porter Stansberry quoted me on this video, my name is: Ricardo C. Amaral. This was the first time that I heard of Porter Stansberry – but it turned out he is supposed to be a very well known figure to the investment community.

    About a month ago, two friends of mine mentioned to me that they had seen the enclosed video, and that Bill Gross, Jim Rogers and I were quoted on this video regarding the US dollar. Over 500,000 people have seen this video so far on various locations on the web, and I am quoted around the minute 38 to 41 into the video presentation.

    SouthAmerica: Since the subject of this thread is the collapse of the US dollar, then another major event just happened in Japan overnight – I have been watching it live on TV the destruction caused by the latest earthquake and tsunami in Japan, and by coincidence I had been discussing that subject about 2 months ago right here on the Elite Trader forum and you can read it at:

    SouthAmerica: Reply to W. Weatherford

    First, regarding the destruction of Tokyo and its devastating impact on the US dollar – I can't take credit for that theory, since it was not my idea. I just changed the source of the destruction from a massive earthquake to a nuclear weapons attack from North Korea against Tokyo.

    That theory made an impact on me that's why I still remember to this day when I read in 1995 an article saying that if a similar earthquake to the Kobe earthquake had happened in Tokyo that would have triggered a collapse of the US dollar. Then the article went on to explain the financial implications of such a massive earthquake hitting Tokyo, and the chain reaction of events that would have followed when the Japanese government having to use its massive foreign currency reserves in US dollar to pay for the damages and the reconstruction of Tokyo.

    The idea behind that article stayed on the back of my mind all these years, because I realized how vulnerable the US dollar and the international monetary system (because the US dollar is the main foreign reserve currency) was to a simple catastrophic act of nature such as that massive earthquake that destroyed Kobe hitting instead Tokyo, and its consequences to the international monetary system.

  6. It will not bring apocalypse since that is not what happens from a nuclear plant going full tilt meltdown. What it will do is pump nuclear particulate into atmosphere over the weeks ahead that may at some point EQUAL all the DU that was introduced to the atmosphere from GW2 (Gulf War 2).

    So take action everyone......next two weeks are critical.

    In the morning no matter where you are in the western US/Canada/Alaska down to western seaboard then Nevada, New Mexico, Texas, and states following the jet stream, you WILL have particulate matter here within 36 hours.

    Take your POTASSIUM IODATE and go into defensive mode for next few weeks.

    You should be able to find these or similar pills locally in most cities.

    SouthAmerica: This week it will be a very interesting week regarding the financial markets.

    As the dust settles and banks, insurance companies, hedge funds, and the financial markets in general start realizing the damage caused by the catastrophic events in Japan.

    And also the potential impact that this mess will have regarding the coming meltdown of the US dollar.

    MAJOR FOREIGN HOLDERS OF US TREASURY SECURITIES
    Japan = US$ 882 billion as of December 31, 2010

    http://www.treasury.gov/resource-center/data-chart-center/tic/Documents/mfh.txt

    Last week Bill Gross announced that he is out of the US treasuries market.

    The United States needs to fund over $ 1.5 trillion dollars per year regarding its US government deficit spending.

    China and Japan had decided to stop adding to their vast portfolio of US treasuries, and China had been trying to get out of some of their holdings.

    Every time the US government needs money to fund its deficit spending 30 percent of the treasuries are bought by the public including foreign holders, and 70 percent is being bought by the Federal Reserve under the QE2 program that ends in June 2011.

    Bill Gross one of the main investors of Treasuries in the US is out of the market, China is trying to reduce their position, and now Japan will be forced to sell a big piece of its US$ 882 billion holding to be able to fund the rebuilding of Japan after the latest catastrophe.

    After the dust settles the only player that still be around to finance the US government deficit spending, it will be Ben Bernanke and the Federal Reserve and its infinite power of creating US dollars from nothing.

    The good news is: Ben Bernanke and his pals at the Fed must be working very hard right now regarding their next strategy to try to stop a US dollar meltdown as follows:

    QE3 = US$ 1 trillion dollars

    followed by

    QE4 = US$ 2 trillion dollars

    and

    QE5, QE6, QE7, QE8, etc, etc.....

    Note: I wonder how many zeros after a number the Federal Reserve can add to the accounts of banks to create money from nothing. Here is how they do it:

    The Federal Reserve brings up on its computer screen the account of a major US bank to be able to create money from nothing as follows:

    QE15 =
    US$1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000.00

    The Federal Reserve press enter, and they just created a gazillion dollars to keep the US financial system afloat, and at the same time torpedo most emerging market economies with massive inflation.

    SouthAmerica: Regarding the yen vs. US dollar

    The yen should go up versus the US dollar driven by Japan's government and Japanese investors' repatriation of foreign funds. Manufacturers, insurers and other financial investors all will sell overseas assets to bring the money home to fix their factories and to cover all kinds of reconstruction costs, and also portfolio losses.

    All this demand for yen will push the yen up against the US dollar making the goods made in Japan even more expensive in world markets – creating further currency problems for the Japanese exporters.

    I wonder how much of its US$ 882 billion holdings of US government securities the Japanese government it will be forced to sell in 2011 to bring the money home to use it on the reconstruction of the Japanese economy?

  10. The question is

    1) Howcome all these printed dollars not entering the market?

    2) Howcome all these printed dollars not causing inflation although the printed amount is huge?
