  1. I haven't been active in trading lately thus havent been around much.... I have $ tied up in real estate and gold right now instead of stocks.

Im thinking of getting the complete run of "Space 1999" episodes in dvd.

This show was superior to Star Treck in every way.... but never went into sydication..... thus fizzled out:mad: I used to love watching it as a kid.

CRIMONY! Picked another bad one - so bad I had to shut it off after less than 25 minutes. It's calle Lilies, and I can't really describe it because it made absolutely no sense. Somebody will have to pick a movie for me next month, I'm obviously incapable of doint it myself.

Watchable? WATCHABLE?!?!?!?! Wow, I just watched Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. Five fricking stars PLUS! Great movie!

Now, I gotta admit right here, even though Cusack was the main character, Kevin Spacey stole the show! Amazing performance!

I usually put the spoilers in all of my movie reviews, but I'm not going to do it this time because I beg of you, NO, I DEMAND of you, see this movie!!!

    100% convincing!

    100% believable!

    100% amazing!

    Wow!

I'm not shittin' you guys, see this movie, K?

Let me tell you guys a thing or two. I'm a southron, kind of. I'm origianlly from SE Kentucky, so I can relate to this movie set in Savannah GA. Me: bad at sports, talked with a lisp, walked like a girl. I had to overcome all of it to get on with life. I know these characters!

let me tell you about Ms. Chablis. I've met Ms. Chablis a few times. I don't know who the actor is who played Ms. Chablis in this movie, but he nailed it PERFECTLY! PERFECTLY!!!

Omega, thanks for leading me to this movie. After a couple of boners in a row, this was finally a good one. Cusack was great, even though I think Spacey stole the show.

I know a real live Ms. Chablis. I see her every now and then at my favorite dive/gay bar in downtown San Diego. Whenever she sees a guy who might be possibley flirting with me, she issues them a friendly warning, "he's mine, leave him alone." I ain't no top, she knows that, but she tells them anyway.

the most interesting people in society live on the fringes.

    Now go see this movie!

One more note - my netflix subscription says that I get one two hour movie per month. This movie was two hours and thirty five minutes and it let me watch the whole thing. Thanks to netflix for not being a time nazi.

Hey, you guys need to check out hulu.com if you haven't seen it in a few weeks. they have movies now!

I watched Mutiny on the Bounty on Hulu with Hopkins and Gibson. I saw this before on broadcast television back in the early 90's, but I tuned in in the middle of the movie. so I kept going to Blockbuster looking for the VHS to rent it, but it was never there. I firgot about it until I found it on Hulu last week and I watched it begining to end.

So, what's the first thing to jump out at me in this film? Well I have to say it is Mel Gibson's thick hair. It's thinnned out over the years. But seriously, great film. The film was adapted from a book and they tried to keep it as factual as possible. Hopkins plays the mean Captain Bligh and Mel Gibson plays the head mutineer, Fletcher Christian. Even though there have been a few different HMS Bounty movies over the years, I'm not going to put in any spoilers here. Watch the Hopkins/Gibson version and even though you will have high expectations you will not be disapointed. Lieutenant Bligh, (Hopkins), is an ambitious British naval officer who asks Fletcher Christian, (Gibson), to sail with him on a assignment to Tahiti to trade for breadfruit to be delivered to slaves on a Carribean British colony. Captain Bligh is too harsh for some of the crew and a mutiny erupts. Watch it, four stars.
