    So, uhhh, a "state climatologist" title was bestowed by a university! :)

    science is an inconvenient truth for conservatives and luddites.Why do conservatives listen to their doctors?The doctor is just giving advice and diagnosis based on 'secular' science.

    You're scared to death of seeing or hearing something that fly's in the face of your preconceived notions.

    To a large extent that's human nature. But you would think the self proclaimed enlightened, educated intellectuals would be able to rise above that part of human nature.

    From what I've seen around here they are unable, or unwilling.
