the fed statement

  1. hi. does anyone think the fed should go to a less open approach to the interest rate policy? i think they are just causing confusion with this policy they have right now. i also think they paint themselves into corners like they have right now with raising interest rates. if they were to stop rasing rates at the next meeting, then everyone would panic and say"whats wrong with the economy?"

  2. I think after every meeting the Chairman should step out of the room and immediately in front of cameras and reporters, with one of those paper tablets & a magic marker he should simply draw a whole damn yield curve, to be effective until the next meeting.

He should be prohibited to speak. Fed 'watchers' could then ruminate on the color choice of marker that week.

Well, you asked ... so I told you. :)
