The central bank in the UK has been telling people not to ask for big pay raises.

So they want us to take Personal Responsibility for the problem they created (inflation).

But they wont ever say spend less, only just don't spend a huge amount more than last year. If everyone spends less then they know the whole ponzi collapses.

JP[Fed] has done part of that; I've heard him @ least one time warn\ US gov spending cant continue @ the way it has. Pretty basic LOL but good warning.:caution::caution:
NOT sure that's the Feds job to warn about WMT theft, OK by me if he does.
Our local WMT has reserved parking place for police.
Most likely our region, mid south, does not have the theft problem that a goofy give 'em $999 free theft left coast city nonsense does.

The middle class has been on a decline since 1970 thanks to government & Fed policies.

Conservative DOJ is the key, make justice great again.
Insane greed leads to corruption and perversion(Biden is a foreign agent).

    THAT chart maybe right uptrend for top earners;
doesnt look right for lower + mid class @ all. EVEN if adjusted for inflation/ Real Estate[mid class] would not trend down like that. And so many give aways to poor.
    [I'm looking @ charts/ much better uptrends,dqydj.com, includes inflation,1968-2022.]
A renter in hi tax rust belt maybe lost like that mid class chart downtrend.
Comagnum you post some good stuff, but i dont live in a hi tax/hi regulations rust belt:caution::caution:

The fed is supposed to keep prices stable and promote full employment. Those are their two mandates, and they fail horribly. You want to give them more tasks?? It was even suggested that they are taking on climate change. Jesus, what dumb idea. Honestly, giving them the power to set interest rates is already one of the greatest sins. Let's not task them with any more responsibilities.

JP, Fed head, said ''climate change is not a main consideration'' CNBC, 2021article.
A lot of big banks pushed back hard against goofy greens. Amen.
ECB seems to enjoy a micromanage.
Warren Buffet had a good point also ''it would be asinine to complete a single climate change report'':D:D

Last time I looked The Fed had TWO hard enough responsibilities 1) Employment and 2) Price stability. Those two are hard enough as it is.

The Fed like the Judiciary, has to at least try to be non-Political. Start getting involved in that other stuff and you start walking down a very slippery slope.
