  1. Again, please provide specifics about what they did wrong, and what you would have done better.

What is this nonsense you are posting. Oh, they are just a politician's fabricated talking points.

These articles show projections from the media if Florida did not issue a stay at home order. All of these articles are from before the date when Florida issued a stay at home order.

Florida issued as stay at home order starting on April 3rd. The result of this stay at home is a much reduced COVID-19 death toll and case count than if a stay at home order had not been issued.

If a stay at home order had not been put in place in Florida then these earlier projections would likely have been met or exceeded.

Complete and total horseshit. Bold font horseshit, but horseshit nonetheless.

  6. I should point out that I thought you started this thread. Tsing Toad has me on ignore such that I cannot see his posts. So yours is the first I saw in this thread, which is why I didn't know what, specifically, you were talking about. Now that I do, please take heed: Tsing is an idiot, while gwb-trading is on point.

Is Florida at three months of Social Distancing yet? No. They just completed one month. Let's give it two more months with a "re-opening" occurring and see the actual results.

  8. Rush is not long for this world.

Some good Rush reading, though, is:

Not exactly a new book, and yet remarkably relevant.

The breathless calling of a final result at the very start of something by the rights these days..

It's not just how moronic it is, but how so many of them have just taken to this as a fun dirty propoganda trick is surprising.

More likely, this is the reason. Those so called experts need to be relevant or they would be out of jobs. After all, if you are a useless slug, chances are good they will fire your ass. Why are they paying you for? So, you paint an extreme worst case scenario. If it does not happen and chances are good that it won't you can always backtrack and say, see, we took steps to prevent it and now claim credit for being one smart cookie. Remember the figures are estimates which can be manipulated to say what you want.
