The Evolution of an Investor

  1. That was a great article. I get asked for investment all the time being a trader and I always tell everyone the same thing:

    1. Don't trade or try to time the market.
    2. Don't invest in any actively trading/managed fund as they all under perform the S&P index over the long run.
    3. Buy SPY or some other ETF index fund and hold it until you retire.


    They then ask me why I trade and how can I beat the market if they can't and I say there are many market inefficiencies that only pros can exploit.
