Huios.. ill miss reading your journal but sometimes you just gotta do what you gotta do.. good luck my friend.. -qwik
Another one bits the dust... But I wish you luck in whatever you do and I hope you come back to trading.
I appreciate what you have put forth here. It has been quite encouraging on some fronts, and quite realistic; in that you are showing, for all the world and new traders to see, how tough it can be. I wish you the best in your endeavers and many blessings. Make 'em pretty, Chris
When I first started I figured I would be making money after a couple of months. After a couple of months I figured I would be making money after a year. After a year I figured I would be making money in two years. After two and a half years I still am not consistently profitable and am not sure how long it will take. The people that make money consistently after only a few months are out there but they are the exception, not the rule. New traders should approach trading as a profession and understand that they are going to have to sacrifice a lot of time and money to learn it. Best wishes Huios.
hey huios, im a bit late, i know, but i wish you all the best. i liked your journal, although i did not participated much in the last weeks. i found at last it has all been said and done, so... trading
Huios, "When faced with a greater adversary, retreat and regroup." Sun Tzu Hope to see you back soon. Best of luck in all... nitro
Many thanks for all the kind words from all of you!!!! I am still alive and trading... well... watching "naked" 1 and 5 minute charts to learn price action. No ma's, indicators, s/r line, nothing but ticks up and down all day. By the time the end of the day rolls around, I am ready to take out my eyeballs and soak them in ice water. But, the real cool thing is I am seeing things like I have never seen them before. Beginning to sense "changes" in the market. Not able to discern direction yet, just changes. "Direction will come later." he says. "Just concentrate on the price action, and continually ask yourself these two questions. What is the market trying to tell me? -and- What am I missing?" Question we have been discussing lately... What do the 90% do, and don't do, that keeps them in the 90%? Besides consistently lose money. Good Trading All, Huios
